my recent paths have been quite logical, yet unbelievable.
and this is what i think: just like on the jurassic plain, where some limestone is left standing, and some has been washed away, there are some things in life that are washed away and some that remain standing. those then serve as either support for some other edifices, or create weather patterns, or are just there to be looked at, to allow the eye to see, and the mind to measure the distance – they create perspective.
yet the washing-out process is not without pain. for the resilient to remain, the soft has to be chipped away, bit by bit. only then does the perspective, the support, the power are revealed.
when all the unnecessary is washed away, pure beauty remains.
